Most of you are already familiair with this but for the ones who arent DONT USE THE SMITH MACHINE! Research clearly shows that performing compound exercises (like squat and bench press) on the smith machine results into less muscle growth and strength than when performing these exercises with free weights (barbell squat barbell/dumbell bench press). So if you still are using the smitch machine stop robbing yourself from gains! Tag someone who still uses the smith machine. Research link...
